Ingredients
2 pkgs. Cake Mix
2 boxes prepared White Glaze
Food coloring (red, yellow and green)
1 Hostess Ho-Ho-roll or similar sweet snack item (optional)
Bundt Pan
Cupcake pan
Method:
Fill wells of a cupcake cake batter with the full 3.2. Pour the rest of the cake batter into the pan, Bundt.
Bake the cake according to package directions. Keep an eye on the cupcake aswill cook and cake will be done before. Make the cake the second ring (or use two pans and bake for Bundt together to save time). Let the cake cool completely finished.
Reserve 2:01 cup of white frosting and orange remaining. This is accomplished by slowly adding drops of yellow and red food coloring until you have done exactly the right shade of orange. Adding more yellow will brighten the color while you're red, will intensify.
Put one cake upside down on aPlatter and frost the top with the orange glaze. Now place the second cake top of the first, flat side down. Frost two cakes together up and down to simulate the movement of assembly lines into a pumpkin.
Place the cupcake upside down into the hole at the top of the bundt cake to make the pumpkin stem. Color glaze, reserved green and frost cupcakes cells.
If you wish, make a face on the pumpkin with gumdrops or jelly to the eyes and nose, blackLicorice whips for the mouth, the candy corn for teeth, etc.
Variation: Frost a Hostess Ho-Ho or other type of dessert cake roll to the tribe, instead of the cupcake.
